Forklift extensions are a type of heavy duty accessory which help in loading and transporting pallets and other warehouse items. Longer extensions may mean lower weight capacity in some cases so you need to be very careful when installing, loading and transporting. It is always better to work below the stated maximum limits.

Manufacturers may sell forklift extensions individually, in pairs or by set. Since standard forks in machines come in pairs, it is advisable to buy at least two. You can find several pieces with the right dimensions and make at your local hardware store or online. When ordering online, you will be asked to specify details like material, measurements, powder coating and color in some cases. The products will be delivered directly to you anywhere from 3 to 7 days. Ask the manufacturer if the products come pre-packaged and if they have any warranty or return policies. Some companies provide you with a 30-day satisfaction guarantee period to ensure that the extension properly fit the forks. If the pieces become damaged as a result of your own tasks and procedures, replacement usually is not viable.
