When it comes to superior performance, Hyster forklifts are one of the performance leaders in the industry. The company has 13 manufacturing facilities with over 600 dealers that span over 100 countries worldwide. They offer over 130 different models of lift trucks. They offer everything from a Class I to a Class V in lift trucks. They are on four continents - the Americas, Europe, Asia-Pacific and China - making them a global leader in the industry.

While they offer other types of lift trucks, it is their forklifts that make their name. Hyster forklifts come in a variety of styles, which include the IC cushion, IC pneumatic, electric counterbalance and the big truck.

IC Cushion

The IC cushion series are sit down counterbalanced, each model in the series has different weight capacities, and travel speeds. The forklifts in this series have weight capacities starting as low as 3,000 pounds and going as high as 15,500 pounds. Travel speeds range from 10.4 mph to 12.7 mph.

IC Pneumatic

IC pneumatic series are sit down counterbalanced, each model in the series has different weight capacities, and travel speeds. The forklifts in this series have weight capacities starting as low as 3,000 pounds and going as high as 36,000 pounds. Travel speeds range from 10.5 mph to 21.5 mph.

Electric Counterbalanced

The electric counterbalanced forklift series comes in both the cushion tire and pneumatic tire. They also come in 4 wheel series and 3 wheel series.

The 4 wheel electric counterbalanced cushion is AC powered and comes in 36 volt and 48 volt models. Weight capacities range from a low end of 2,500 pounds to 12,000 pounds depending on the model in that series. Travel speeds range from 8.4 mph to 11.3 mph.

The 4-wheel electric counterbalanced pneumatic is AC powered and come in 80 volts. Weight capacities are 4,000 pounds to 7,000 pounds. Travel speeds range from 11.2 mph to 11.3 mph.

The 3 wheel electric counterbalanced forklifts come in the cushion tires. They are AC powered and come in 80 volts. Weight capacities range from a low end of 3,000 pounds to a high of 4,000 pounds. Travel speed is 8.8 mph on all models in this series.

Big Truck Line

The big truck line has two forklifts in the series. Both in the big truck line are versatile forklift trucks. Weight capacities range from a low end of 40,500 pounds to a high end of 70,000 pounds. Travel speeds range from 16.1 mph to 19.2 mph. Both meet Tier 3 emission standards thus making them an environmental choice for facilities that deal in extremely large containers. Both can also be customized with any attachments that are needed to move any type of heavy-duty load.

All models are ergonomically designed to offer operator comfort and increase productivity within the work facility. Hyster forklifts can be equipped with a pre-shift checklist. This is programmed into the forklift to prevent the truck from starting if the pre-shift checklist has not be completed. This offers a nice safety feature that can prevent truck damage and operator injury.
